The effects of the bite that was sustained by Sergeant Wu (Reggie Lee) will finally surface in the next episode of "Grimm" season 5.
Spoilers for the episode, titled "The Taming of the Wu," reveal that the police sergeant could be transforming into a deadly beast when his new primal instincts, brought about by the bite of a werewolf-like monster called the Lycanthrope in episode 14, are triggered.
While he tried to keep this a secret from Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby), his friends could finally have an idea about the sudden changes that are happening in his life.
According to the synopsis for the episode, "Suffering from the bite he sustained, Sgt. Wu becomes entangled in a surprising altercation that may land him in hot water."
Could Nick and Hank help in stopping Wu from turning into a very dangerous monster?
Meanwhile, the episode also shows the family drama between Adalind (Claire Coffee), her daughter Diana (Hannah R. Loyd), Renard (Sasha Roiz), and Nick.
Adalind has just reunited with her very powerful daughter but Renard kidnaps her to take her to Diana. As much as she was glad to finally see Diana again, this will put her in a very compromised spot since she and Nick are just starting to have an intimate relationship after she gave birth to their son Kelly.
The rest of the synopsis for the episode reads:
"After meeting the mysterious Bonaparte (guest star Shaun Toub), Adalind (Claire Coffee) is faced with a difficult decision that could change her and Nick's (David Giuntoli) lives forever. Meanwhile, Hank (Russell Hornsby) gets even closer to Zuri (guest star Sharon Leal) and their relationship begins to take shape. Back at HW, Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) senses that a new force may jeopardize the entire operation."
"Grimm" season 5 episode 19 is scheduled to air on Friday, April 29, on NBC.
