The 2013 Emmy Awards will take place tonight at 8 p.m. ET . The ceremony will be aired live on CBS.
65th Primetime Emmy Awards show will be held in Los Angeles at the Nokia Theatre with Neil Patrick Harris hosting the show.
The "How I Met Your Mother" actor said: "I couldn't be more honored and excited to be hosting this year's Emmy Awards. And what perfect timing — I'll just do the exact same script I'm about to use for the Tonys. 'And the Emmy for best revival of a musical goes to "Breaking Bad"!' See, told you it works."
Prior to the award ceremony, an official Backstage Live and red carpet will be available to watch online at 7 p.m. ET. Be sure to tune in to watch the red carpet live stream here. The Backstage Live event will show behind-the-scenes footage before the show, including celebrity arrivals at the Governors Ball and backstage clips.
The Governors Ball is an annual formal sit-down dinner with up to 3,800 attendants who will dine and watch the Emmys. The Ball will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center and feature the "Emmy Winner's Circle" for the award show's biggest winners.
E! News will also be providing online red carpet coverage which will be available via free live stream from 5:55 p.m. ET by clicking here.
Tomorrow's award ceremony will feature a special memorial tribute for five significant people who have died in the past TV season.
A special In Memoriam segment will be held for actors James Gandolfini, Cory Monteith, Jean Stapleton, Jonathan Winters and producer David Goldberg.
Emmys executive producer Ken Elrich stated: "These five individuals brought us such great entertainment and joy. So having their close friends share personal remembrances is something that will be very meaningful for television audiences across the country and across the generations. And our traditional In Memoriam segment will be presented in a unique new format that will give added importance to an already much anticipated segment of the Emmy show."
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will be presenting together, along with Kerry Washington with Diahann Carroll and sisters Zooey and Emily Deschanel.
Elton John will also be performing for the first time at the Emmys. He will pay tribute to late performer Liberace.
Shows to look out for on September 22 will be the first Netflix-only series "House of Cards", which received 14 nominations. HBO's "Behind the Candelabra" also received the most nominations out of the cable network's whopping 108 nods.
