Dylan Farrow, adopted daughter of renowned Hollywood filmmaker Woody Allen, has come forward once more to speak against the child abuse and molestation that she had received from Allen when she was just seven years of age. Farrow is still seeking justice for what had happened to her in the past, due to Allen not being brought to justice back when she told her story in 2014.
In light of recent events, Allen's career is already harmed by Farrow's alleged claims. However, due to the "MeToo" movement, she decided to discuss her traumatic experiences face-to-face with CBS, wherein she recounted and specified exactly what she had gone through with the filmmaker. In one case, Farrow stated that her private parts were touched by Allen while she was playing with her brother's toys. Her mother, Mia Farrow, was out that day.
The interview with CBS was the first time that Farrow ever made a public appearance to discuss the molestation that happened to her as a child. Ever since she came out with her story back in 2014, more popular Hollywood personalities have sworn to never work with Allen again, even though he was not found guilty of child abuse and molestation.
As reported by The Guardian, British actor Colin Firth is the latest person to state that he would "never work with Allen ever again," which he said just one day after Farrow's interview was televised. Previously, Firth had worked with Allen on the film titled "Moonlight," which was released in 2013 -- roughly a year before Farrow came out with her story.
Allen had a rebuttal regarding Farrow's allegations, stating that she is taking advantage of the rise of the "Time's Up" and "MeToo" movement in order to make her claims once more since they have already been discredited in the past. Farrow has amassed a significant number of supporters, including Mira Sorvino, Rachel Brosnahan, Greta Gerwig, Rebecca Hall and Timothee Chalamet -- all of whom had experience working with Allen.
