Doctor Who 50th Anniversary: TV and Cinema screening time & info, new 'The Day of the Doctor' trailers

Brand new trailers for the Doctor Who's 50<sup>th anniversary special 'The Day of the Doctor' have been released.

In under two weeks, fans of the cult show will be tuning in to watch the show online. Both 2D and 3D viewing will be possible.

The Day of the Doctor special will be simulcast via live stream in over 75 countries across the world on Nov. 23, 2013. It will air at 7:50 p.m. GMT. Check local times for your time zone here.

In the United States, The Day of the Doctor will be aired on BBC America, AMC, Century Theatres, Cinemark and Regal cinemas.

The Day of the Doctor is written by Steven Moffat and is a special episode that has been described as a "love letter to fans" by producer Marcus Wilson.

The Daleks will be returning for the special, along with past Doctor Who stars David Tennant, Billie Piper, Rose Tyler, Jemma Redgrave and more.

BBC's official synopsis of the special 50<sup>th anniversary feature is as follows:

"The Doctors embark on their greatest adventure in this 50th anniversary special. In 2013, something terrible is awakening in London's National Gallery; in 1562, a murderous plot is afoot in Elizabethan England; and somewhere in space an ancient battle reaches its devastating conclusion. All of reality is at stake as the Doctor's own dangerous past comes back to haunt him."
