Dell will be among the presenters at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2018 in January, where the company is expected to unveil their updated XPS 13 laptop. Although as early as October, Dell has already gave the public a sneak peak at the new look of their high-performance laptops. For one, a vibrant snow white 13-inch XPS Ultrabook was teased by the tech giant.

As reported by Tech Radar, Dell has given the online publication a first look at the new Dell XPS 13 laptops during a tour at the company's Texas headquarters. It was revealed that one of the new XPS 13 laptops to be revealed next year will be a snow white netbook with 13-inch display. The upcoming laptop will still boast Dell's signature Infinite Edge display

The snow white Dell XPS 13 laptop is seen to have the same thin build, consistent with the appearance of the previous Ultrabooks. One of the highlights of the upcoming machine is its widescreen display made even better by slimmer bezels. Another exciting change with the new Dell XPS 13 laptop is the three USB-C ports replacing the old USB 3.0 sockets. Instead of a microSD slot, the laptop will have an SD card reader.

With regards to the new Dell XPS 13's camera, the image shooter is now located at the center of the lower bezel. Tech experts welcome this change as the camera's previous location at the lower left corner of the display posed inconvenience for some users. This time, XPS 13 users will have their faces centered on the screen during a webcam chat. Unfortunately, the new location still does not solve the angle issue with the camera fixed on the user's chin.

The new Dell XPS 13 laptop will include two camera lenses, suggesting that the upcoming Ultrabook will feature the Windows Hello camera software. If it does, the latest version will be similar with the XPS 13 hybrid variant.

The brief preview on the latest Dell XPS 13 laptop also revealed its other color variant, namely rose gold. In the snow white variant, Dell makes use of a new soft, woven glass fiber material for the palm rest that will add to the user's comfort. A new material was needed to create the laptop to give an authentic white version of carbon fiber, instead of displaying white color with the use of paint coating.

The latest hardware update on the Dell XPS 13 Ultrabook was in August, with the laptop now having the 8th-generation Intel Core processor, The Verge reported. The XPS 13 was first unveiled during the CES 2015.
