NEXT Studio's violent-puzzler title "Death Coming" is finally landing on the iOS this coming March 13, bringing its somewhat dark yet comical premise onto the mobile platform.
News about "Death Coming's" port to the iOs was first announced in January of this year with the release initially set in February. However, the developer pushed back the game's debut to March, citing that the game needs a little more time baking in the development oven.
Now that NEXT studio's "Death coming" is dropping to the iOs, users of the platform can expect a whole new approach to the puzzle genre. Here, players will play a character who has recently passed away and is immediately hired as an apprentice to the Grim Reaper -- the next title holder you can say.
Users are then tasked to help the Reaper send souls into the afterlife by thinking of ways to extinguish human lives without directly murdering them -- a feat that is frowned upon in-game.
And to make matters all the more interesting, while players are at their wits end trying to think of strategies to peacefully kill their human target, they also have to think about the guardians of light who will, in any way, do what it takes to halt your evil intentions.
Initially, "Death Coming" was a game that was exclusive to the PC platform but, as clamor for the death puzzler increased, the creators decided to convert the game onto another popular stage, which is the mobile games platform.
Other than this upcoming iOS release, NEXT Studio also revealed in their most recent announcement that they are working on adapting the game to the Android mobile scene.
"Death Coming" will officially drop on March 13 on the iOS primarily on the iPad and iPhone devices.
