The zombie-killing video game by Capcom, "Dead Rising 4" is already slated to be released on the PlayStation 4 by December this year. This announcement perhaps was not perceived as exciting by some, especially since the game had already been released in December of 2016. However, it might interest some fans as there have been reports that the game will be receiving all new content as well as enhancements from the previous Microsoft version.

According to Polygon, Capcom Vancouver will be providing a new game mode that will be made available when the game is released on the PS4. One of the upcoming game modes is called "Capcom Heroes," which will allow players to use other iconic characters in Capcom's roster. However, the gameplay aspect that will be receiving the most changes is the "maniacs," which had been under heavy fire in the past.

Capcom released a statement in the Capcom Unity Blog addressing the concerns about the maniacs, since it was not received very well in the past. However, they will be looking to enhance this by making it a more rewarding and purposeful experience for players by giving foes weapons of their own. The maniacs will have varying weaknesses, and players will have to figure out what they are. Additionally, they will also have minions of their own.

Additionally, the game will be receiving options to switch the game's difficulty, and there will be two higher difficulty modes available for zombie-killing veterans. Another feature that will be added into the game is a mode called "Distress Calls," wherein Frank will have the opportunity to seek and rescue other survivors. According to DSO Gaming, there will be six "Distress Calls" missions available.

Capcom has also taken the initiative of improving the overall control responsiveness of the game. Given that the players will have to dispatch hundreds of zombies at a time, it is imperative that the controls complement a player's ability to deal with the mayhem of the game by being as responsive as it can be.

"Dead Rising 4: Frank's Big Package" will be coming to the PS4 on Dec. 5, and the updates will arrive on the Xbox One and the PC as well. However, fans will still have to purchase the additional content for an estimated $50.
