Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) will be joined by two other vigilantes when "Daredevil" returns for its sophomore season on Netflix in March.

Actors Jon Bernthal and Elodie Yung recently talked about their characters that will be introduced in the second season of the superhero crime drama based on the Marvel comics. Will they work with the Daredevil to fight crime all over the streets of Hell's Kitchen? Or will they cause more problems for the blind lawyer-turned-superhero?

Bernthal told IGN that his character Frank Castle/The Punisher has a moral code opposite to Murdock. If the Devil of Hell's Kitchen is against killing in any form, The Punisher believes that criminals deserve to be killed. However, the actor still does not consider his character to be a villain.

"I never look at things as I'm playing a villain or I'm playing a good guy. I just try to get as in touch with the character as I can and really get as familiar and try to get that character's hurt and his story and his wants ingrained in my body," Bernthal explained.

The actor also revealed that The Punisher is not just a character that challenges Matt Murdock in the series since he could also make the audience redefine the meaning of "good" and "bad."

Meanwhile, Yung also believes that there is more to her character Elektra than being bad.

"We think Elektra is a sociopath. This world is a game for her. It's like a chess game, and what motivates her is what she wants. She'll use anything she needs to use to get to her goal, and if she needs to kill people, she will," the actress told Collider in an interview.

She also said that Elektra is not a bad person but she could not be classified as a good person either.

"She's a person with different traits, with layers, and she's seeking who she is. In this season, there's an arc to her story. Hopefully, she'll find we'll find out who she is, by the end of it."

Netflix will drop the entire "Daredevil" season 2 on March 18.
