Creation Ministries to expose holes in evolution theories in new book and documentary

A non-profit creationist organization, Creation Ministries International (CMI), plans to release a book and documentary film to expose the weaknesses in the theory of evolution.

"Evolution's Achilles' Heels" plans to demolish "the very pillars of a foundational belief system that underpins our now-secular culture," and also "reach the lost with the Bible's Good News," according to its website.

The book is authored by Ph.D. scientists in the fields of natural selection, geology, genetics, and other applicable disciplines, and is expected to be released next month. The scientists believe that after evolutionists hear their findings, there will be no rebuttal. They also hope that millions around the world listen to them explain the theories simply and concisely, and will walk away believing or affirming their belief in creationism.

CMI holds a literal interpretation of the Book of Genesis, and believes that only limited biological changes have taken place in organisms since the beginning. They also believe that Creation took place over six 24-hour days.

Evolutionists, on the other hand, believe that "a group of chemicals inadvertently organized themselves into a self-replicating molecule" billions of years ago, and all organisms have evolved from that molecule.

The "Evolution's Achilles' Heels" documentary will follow the book later tbis year, with a premiere date scheduled in October 2014 at the Eastside Baptist Church in Atlanta. The film's trailer presents several alleged weaknesses in evolutionist theory.

"Natural selection plus mutation actually works in the wrong direction for evolution," one scientist states. "So the question is, 'How does evolution work?'"

"Genetic entropy is profound," another scientist says. "It means that things are going down, and not up. The human race should be devolving, not evolving."

They also maintain that there are geological processes that can occur instantaneously, and that the "basic features of the fossil record are 'sudden appearance.' There's an absence of transitions leading to the first appearance of a particular kind of animal."

One scientist states that evolution is not amoral, but that in its theory, morality is not based on any "fundamental truth." He adds that "if evolution is true, there's no rational basis for morality."
