Supercell is expected to release a huge "Clash of Clans" update before the end of September.
The game developer announced through the game developer's official forum site that they are working on the Clan Challenge that will add more excitement to the popular mobile MMO strategy video game.
According to the post from Supercell staff Anoushka, the Clan Challenges will allow players to release a "friendly" War request to other Clans who would like to take on the challenge.
The said challenge will let players pick their war participants and determine the length of preparation or battle days before they can send out their requests for the Clan Challenge. Then the preparation day of the challenge will start immediately as soon as the opposing Clan accepted.
However, players cannot issue a Clan Challenge as long as they are still involved in a Clan War. Also, the new feature could not be considered as a Clan War replacement. Yet, the new feature will reportedly provide better support for meet-ups and events that the players organized, as well as support for the other initiatives of the online or offline community.
Yibada also mentioned that the soon-to-be-released "Clash of Clans" update is expected to come out with a new mode. At the moment, the game only features the Single Player mode, the Friendly Challenge mode, as well as the Money Player mode. However, there are no details yet regarding the possible contents of the rumored mode.
While Anoushka did not reveal when the Clan Challenge and the September update will finally come out in the public, All Clash pointed out that the highly-anticipated update will go live sometime in mid- or late-September. But since the month is almost drawing to a close, it can be expected to see the new update to be released by Supercell next week.
