Christian singer-songwriter Kari Jobe announced Tuesday that she is engaged to fellow singer and worship pastor Cody Carnes.

Jobe posted the news on her social media sites, and shared a picture of Carnes on one knee, proposing at the beach.

"I said YES!!!!" she wrote in the Instagram caption.

"Thankful to be swept off my feet by my amazing @codycarnes. You won my heart and I gladly give it to you. You're my miracle. Can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you. You are strong, courageous, bold, romantic, Godly, sweet..and my man. I love you." 

Jobe is associate worship pastor at Gateway Church and has previously been nominated for a Grammy for Best Contemporary Christian Album with her 2012 release Where I Find You.

She is the winner of two Dove Awards and has been recording albums for the last decade.  But it was following the release of her self-titled album in 2009 that she started to gain an international following and solidified her reputation as one of the most gifted worship artists around today.
