American outreach Christian Library International (CLI) welcomes renowned televangelist and author, Pat Robertson, as featured speaker at its fourth annual Author Dinner fundraiser.

Robertson will discuss his latest book, Miracles Can Be Yours Today.

The event will begin at 7pm on 19 Oct. at the Raleigh Marriott Crabtree Valley in North Carolina.

"I am amazed," said Kathleen Skaar, executive director and founder of CLI. "It is remarkable that with his schedule and the good work he is doing, Pat Robertson is making time to partner with us in ministry. We see this as a wonderful gift from God!"

"Miracles Can Be Yours Today" will be available at the dinner alongside previously published "Courting Disaster," "Bring It On" and "The Ten Offenses."

"Few contemporary individuals have had more impact on the Christian world than Pat Robertson," stated Anders Skaar, missions director at CLI. "We are extremely blessed to have this internationally renowned author and broadcaster as our guest speaker."

CLI's author dinner is crucial to the rapidly growing non-profit ministry. With 1100 outreaches, CLI provides free Christian materials to 900 prisons, and offers Bible studies and Christian leadership courses to the inmates.

CLI volunteers and staff promptly answer the steady influx of mail from those who have received Bibles and Christian books. They often write to express their appreciation and to request more books or special materials such as large-print Bibles. Many inmates write as new Christians and offer their testimony.

Every Christmas, CLI's Angel Book Mission provides new, gift-wrapped Christian books to children in orphanages, shelters, detention centres, hospitals, and other facilities serving young people in need. The goal this year is to reach over 6,500 children.
