"Captain America: Civil War" is coming out next year, and the cast of characters continues to expand to include many other Marvel superheroes.
Total Film Magazine has released a new film art poster showing a brawl between the camps of Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and Steve Rogers (Chris Evans). The film art also includes some captions placed next to several characters that explain how they are embedded into the storyline.
The poster also features a miniature-sized Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) going against Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), which confirms his inclusion in the "Civil War" line-up. In Ant-Man's solo film, a post-credits scene shows Falcon (Anthony Mackie) recommending the shrinking fighter to Rogers to join their small team.
"Captain America: Civil War" will see new characters joining the MCU via a "Civil War," and one of them is Black Panther played by Chadwick Boseman (The Express), who has signed a five-film deal with Marvel. The film will also include the return of the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), War Machine (Don Cheadle), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Vision (Paul Bettany).
Also joining the MCU, according to IMDB, is Spiderman who gets into the "Civil War" mess. The masked wall-crawler will this time be played by Tom Holland, who is best know for the roles he has played in "The Impossible" and "In the Heart of the Sea." It is also rumoured that Marisa Tomei will be part of the cast to play Aunt May.
The primary plot of "Captain America: Civil War" centers around tension created between two camps divided by allegiance to a new government policy that requires all independent vigilantes to be registered into a public database. Captain America leads the side that goes against the decision, and clashes with Iron Man who is for the policy.
The film will be directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, and is set to be released in the US on May 6, 2016.
