The squad will encounter a familiar yet unwelcome face once again in an upcoming episode of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 5. Just when everyone has seen the last of the Vulture (Dean Winters), he has come back again to stir up some trouble.
The official synopsis of episode 6 of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 5, titled "The Venue," reveals that the Vulture is back in the lives of the newly engaged Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumero). The Vulture once again threatens to swoop in and take something important away from them. From the title alone, as well as the promotional photos that were released, this likely refers to the wedding venue that Jake and Amy are trying to book for their wedding.
It would not be the first time the Vulture tried to take something important from them anyway. From big cases to stakeouts, he has even gone power tripping on the squad just to show that he could. However, this might go beyond the confines of work. So, whether or not Jake and Amy can stop him remains to be seen, hilariously, of course. The other promotional photos also show the couple engaging in a couple game at a bar as well as the two of them going through some cake sampling. Clearly, Jake and Amy are going full speed ahead with the wedding planning in this episode, so does this mean that the wedding will be coming within the season?
Meanwhile, Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio) and Rosa Diaz (Stephanie Beatriz) are off to look for "Sergeant Peanut Butter," the NYPD horse that Boyle envies but is kidnapped. Captain Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher), on the other hand, is going to challenge Sergeant Terry Jeffords (Terry Crews) to be less image-conscious.
"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 5 airs Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. EDT on FOX.
