The fans of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" have waited a long time to witness its current major arc. The previous episodes had already laid the groundwork for the most explosive moment in the spin-off anime series yet, which is the arrival of Momoshiki Otsutsuki. Meanwhile, in the upcoming episode 53, a fan-favorite character from the original "Naruto" series will make a comeback, although his return will be quite troublesome with Momoshiki trying to abduct the Eight Tails jinchuuriki.

"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episode 55, titled "Scientific Ninja Tools," will feature the return of Killer B, one of Naruto Uzumaki's closest comrades. The famous jinchuuriki with entertaining rhymes will certainly delight the fans once more, although the timing of his re-apperance will coincide with the rampage of Momoshiki. As reported by Comic Book, Killer B will engage Momoshiki in an intense showdown, but in spite of Killer B's immense tailed beast power, taking down the Otsutsuki clan member will be very difficult.
Those who have already read the manga series and "Boruto" film may find the upcoming "Momoshiki" arc in the anime series as predictable. However, "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" will somehow deviate from the manga and the movie, making the story arc longer, OtakuKart reported. For one, the impending fight between Killer B and Momoshiki in episode 55 will be further expanded, in which the extent of Momoshiki's true power will be further detailed. In the movie, only a glimpse of this fight was shown, and it was simply revealed in the end that Momoshiki was successful in abducting Killer B.
On the other hand, "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episode 55 will show the titular character's training with Uchija Sasuke. Boruto has decided to become Sasuke's student so that he could be more powerful than his father someday. Moreover, Naruto's eldest child will ultimately join the Chunin examination, in spite of being reluctant at first to participate in the event.
"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episode 55 will air in Japan this Thursday, April 26.
