'Better Call Saul' season 3 episode 4 rumors: Jimmy may accept Kim's offer to defend him

Will Jimmy be disbarred as his own brother, Chuck, aims to have his license revoked? Facebook/Better Call Saul

After Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk) discovered in the previous episode of "Better Call Saul" that his brother Chuck (Michael McKean) does not really intend to send him behind bars but only wants to have his lawyering license revoked, he may have no choice but to give in to Kim's (Rhea Seehorn) insistence to defend him in court.

This week's episode of "Better Call Saul" season 3 ended with Kim insisting on Jimmy to have her defend him against his brother. As Kim demands that she won't take no for an answer, it is suspected that Jimmy will eventually agree despite his initial reluctance as seen in the promo teaser for next week's episode 4, titled "Sabrosito."

Apart from possibly accepting Kim's offer, the synopsis of next week's episode of "Better Call Saul" also states that Jimmy will be seeking the help of Mike (Jonathan Banks). However, whether the favor he will be asking Mike for has something to do with his personal issues with Chuck is not really clear as of this writing.

The synopsis of the upcoming episode of "Better Call Saul" also reveals that Chuck and Jimmy will reach an agreement. Nonetheless, some can't help but suspect that this does not mean Chuck will no longer pursue his plan of having his brother disbarred.

Meanwhile, it is also suspected that, because of the recent events, Jimmy and Kim's relationship may grow deeper. In a recent interview, "Better Call Saul" writer Gennifer Hutchison revealed that the series' writers have differing opinions on how to carry out the relationship of the two characters, with some pitching Kim being more in love with Jimmy and others lobbying for it to be the other way around.

"Everybody brings their own history of relationships and just general ideas of dynamics into their relationships anyway. We all, across the board, believe that she's really into him and he's really into her. That's the thing that unifies it," Hutchison told The Hollywood Reporter.

"Better Call Saul" season 3 episode 4 airs this Monday, May 1, on AMC at 10 p.m. EDT.
