Messi, Suarez and Iniesta were all left on the bench in their team's 1-2 defeat to Alaves at the weekend. As their side struggled, all three were brought on as substitutes, but they were unable to get Barca back into the game against the newly promoted side.

Celtic assistant manager Chris Davies has said, "If you lose at home, it is not nice, and it does add a bit of pressure to the next game. That is just a reality, and they will admit that themselves."

He added, "We can take a lot of confidence into this game. We had a pre-season game against them, which was probably good for us, to give them a feel for being around their players."

He concluded, "And we are in great form. I have no doubt Barcelona will respect the level we are going to bring. We do take confidence into the game and hopefully we can grow into it and win some points. The level of our play, the goals we are scoring, how creative and organized we are looking, we are confident we can go anywhere and get points. That is what we are taking into the game."

However, if Celtic hope to get anything from this game they will have to be able to cope with the trio of world class attacking players lining up against them in the form of Messi, Suarez and Neymar. This will be the first time all three have been in the starting line up together this season, and that will be a massive boost for Barcelona.
