The Baltimore Ravens will play the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday afternoon, and this will be a match up between two teams desperate for the win, with both only winning the one game so far this season through the opening five weeks. Today's NFL 2015 Week 6 match up has a scheduled start time of 4.25 p.m. ET and takes place from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The game can be watched on TV on the CBS network or online through live stream via the link below.

The last time these two teams played each other it was for an NFL Championship. However, as they come together six weeks into this regular season both teams are down near the basement of the NFL, and their Playoff hopes are already looking long gone.

Both teams come together today with a 1-4 record, and both suffered hard losses last week where they gave up winning positions.

The Ravens' quarterback Joe Flacco has said ahead of the game: "It's unfortunate that we're both in the same situation right now because we feel as though we have a better team. I'm sure they feel the same way."

The 49ers problems start in defense, where they have allowed a massive 406.8 yards per game, enough to rank them 31st in the league.

The Ravens have not been much better, ranking a lowly 24th in overall defense, and last week they collapsed to the Cleveland Browns in a 30-33 overtime loss in which they gave up an enormous 505 yards. In that game they let go of a 21-9 lead in the third quarter, to show just how fragile they are this season.

Elsewhere in the NFL, earlier this week the Atlanta Falcons suffered their first defeat of the season, coming up short against the New Orleans Saints on NFL Thursday Night Football.

Drew Brees was the clear difference between the teams, with the Saints' quarterback passing for 312 yards. Brees connected excellently with Ben Watson, who posted a career high of 127 yards receiving, including a fourth down touchdown catch.

The game also saw an spectacular punt block by Michael Mauti, who went on to recover the ball for a touchdown to the delight of tens of thousands of fans at the Superdome.

There were also two short touchdowns for Mark Ingram, as the Saints put on arguably their best display of the season so far. The New Orleans defense also were fantastic, and arguably turned the game by recovering three fumbles, including two inside the Saints' own 20 yard line.

Even though there was a late rally by the Falcons, it was a matter of too little too late for Atlanta as they went down 21-31.
