Consumers will still be able to continue their holiday shopping even after Christmas as Amazon has announced the second annual Digital Day. On Friday, Dec. 29, 12 a.m. EST, the online retail giant will offer the best deals on a wide variety of digital content.
With last year's Digital Day being a huge success, Amazon has decided to continue the tradition of offering the biggest savings on digital content. This time around, there will be over 5,000 deals for movies, TV shows, mobile games, apps, eBooks and more. The upcoming event will have 40 percent more deals than last year.
"We're excited to help customers find great discounts again this year — whether they just received a new Amazon Fire TV, Fire Tablet, or Fire Kids Edition Tablet over the holidays or are looking to add new content to their current device," said Aaron Rubenson, vice president of Amazon Appstore.
To whet the consumers' appetites, Amazon has released a sneak peek at some of the deals that will be offered next week.
Those who have yet to watch "Wonder Woman" will be able to purchase the superhero movie for 60 percent off on Amazon Video. Meanwhile, subscribing to HBO NOW on Amazon will earn customers $10 of Amazon.com credit.
Gamers can also score up to 33 percent discount off titles like "Sonic Forces," "Civilization VI," "NBA 2K18" and "WWE 2K18." Meanwhile, the $49.99 Lapis bundle for "Final Fantasy Brave Exius" will be available at 25 percent off.
Best-selling books like "The Girl Who Takes an Eye for an Eye," "The Silent Corner" and "Modern Romance" will have up to 75 percent discount while Marvel graphic novels such as "Civil War II," "House of M," "World War Hulk" and "Star Wars" will be available at 80 percent off.
Meanwhile, those who sign up for an Audible trial will receive three free audiobooks. A variety of mobile games and apps as well as streaming workouts will also be on sale. Some of the deals will be available starting Tuesday, Dec. 26, so consumers are encouraged to sign up here in order to receive the latest notifications and updates.
Amazon Digital Day deals will be available through the Amazon App and the Amazon Appstore.
