In spite of Ami Brown's health condition, the "Alaskan Bush People" has something to give to their fans this Christmas. The Brown family is now gearing up for a special Christmas episode coming this December.

In the Facebook page of the Alaskan Bush People Exposed, it revealed that the clan stayed for a short while in Colorado during the first week of November to shoot for the special episode. It was the same month the family filmed 2016's Christmas special, titled "A Browntown Christmas."

However, Discovery Channel has yet to reveal any new details about "Alaskan Bush People" Christmas special. The only thing known about it was Bam was not in Colorado for the filming while Ami had to be brought back to Los Angeles for the second set of her chemotherapy.

Talking about the special episode, TV Insider reported that some scenes of it will show original clips from the series. There will be rehashed stuff, lost sequences, and a few new and old unseen interviews.

In the previous season of "Alaskan Bush People," fans saw the Brown family dealing with Ami's stage four lung cancer. Hence, they had to leave their production set in Southeast Alaska and move to Los Angeles for the matriarch's treatment at UCLA Medical Center. It also featured the clan looking for a new house in Southwest Colorado.

Meanwhile, it looks like fans are not fond of the coming "Alaskan Bush People" Christmas episode. One fan said Discovery Channel is just creating fake programs and the Brown family's reality show is staged. Another one asked why the clan would have to leave their mansion to film in the woods of Colorado, not to mention, bring Ami there.

However, it looks like Ami does not mind being in the western U.S. state. To recall, she previously told People she has "the will to fight" her sickness in spite of the small chance of survival her doctors gave her. "Worrying about it only makes it worse," she said.

The "Alaskan Bush People" special Christmas episode will air on Friday, Dec. 15, at 10 p.m. EST on Discovery Channel.
