
The Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular celebration will kick off at 7:00 p.m. tonight, and culminate with the fireworks show along the Esplanade, which will start at 9:30 p.m.
The 40th annual show will start with a Boston Pops concert at 7:30 p.m., with performances from Keith Lockhart, Susan Tedeschi, Ellis Hall, Howie Day, and more.
The Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular is a free outdoor concert held at the DCR Hatch Shell on the Esplanade.
The event will be broadcast live on WBZ-TV. The broadcast will also be available via live stream on the FM dial on 99.5 Classical New England beginning at 6pm with Ron Della Chiesa and Laura Carlo. 89.7 WGBH Boston Public Radio will simulcast the concert and fireworks score starting at 7 p.m.
The annual event has been produced by Boston 4 Productions for the past 40 years. This year, it is sponsored by Liberty Mutual Insurance.
