The Lincoln Motor Company has once again enlisted Matthew McConaughey to star in the luxury automaker's latest television ad. This time around, the Oscar-winning actor showcases the powerful and commanding presence of the 2018 Navigator.

Titled "Perfect Rhythm," the first of two planned commercials, starts with a distant shot of the all-new full-size luxury SUV driving through the open roads of the Pacific Northwest. McConaughey, who is seen sitting in the driver's seat, stops at a railroad crossing. While waiting for the train to come, the Hollywood actor starts drumming his fingers on the steering wheel as a rhythm builds in his mind.

The music eventually becomes in sync with the noise from the tracks. The light, sounds and scenery all come together to create a high energy piece that reflects the capability of the 2018 Lincoln Navigator.

"Perfect rhythm refers to the feeling you get in those situations when everything comes together. This is our most spacious, refined and capable Navigator ever, combining modern luxury with advanced technology that elevates every passenger's experience," said John Emmert, Lincoln group marketing manager.

The TV spot features the sleek and dynamic exterior design of the 2018 Navigator, specifically the signature grille on the front fascia, as well as a spacious cabin with serene, horizontal styling. The redesigned full-size luxury SUV also comes with advanced technologies such as speed-dependent LED lighting, a head-up display and adaptive cruise control.

The 60-second commercial was directed by "The Dark Knight" and "Inception" cinematographer Wally Pfister. It was released on social media on Dec. 28 and will air as a TV ad during the College Football Playoff on Jan. 1, 2018. A second TV spot for the 2018 Lincoln Navigator, also featuring McConaughey, will air later in the month.

The 2018 Lincoln Navigator is now available to purchase at dealerships. The full-size luxury SUV has a starting price of $72,055.
