Infiniti's first television spot for the 2018 QX80 shows that luxury and sophistication can be shared with everyone. The all-new flagship full-size SUV will deliver a comfortable ride experience — regardless of whether one is sitting in the driver's seat or at the back.

The 30-second commercial, titled "Thrones," is scheduled to air on national television on Jan. 1, 2018. It opens with a series of images featuring custom-made thrones fit for kings and queens from various regions and historical periods. The TV spot then cuts to the 2018 Infiniti QX80's cabin, focusing on luxurious quilted semi-aniline leather-appointed seats available for the driver and all of the passengers.

"We designed the 2018 QX80 with the mindset that luxury is better when shared, offering luxurious amenities that every passenger can enjoy. The beginning of the commercial says it best: 'For centuries, the best seats were built for one.' Today, we aim to deliver the ultimate expression of inclusive luxury where no passenger takes a back seat," said Phil O'Connor, director of marketing communications and media at Infiniti.

Apart from the premium seats, the all-new QX80 is able to deliver a sense of upscale luxury via refined and handcrafted finishes for all the cabin's surfaces and compartments.

The interior makes use of high-quality and new materials that are accented by contrasting colors and double-stitching. Each aspect also features precise attention to details.

The 2018 Infiniti QX80 is available with a Saddle Brown leather interior with black contrast stitching and piping, as well as Wheat or Graphite upholstery in either standard leather or semi-aniline leather. The former comes with dark gray stitching and piping while the latter has medium gray stitching and piping.

Customers can also choose from different interior trims, including the standard Stratford Burl gloss wood trim. The Graphite models come with dark brown Espresso Burl while Wheat and Saddle Brown models have a dark Charcoal Burl trim.

Other luxurious appointments include leather-wrapped gear shift and steering wheel with contrast-stitching as well as leather-trimmed surfaces with padding on the doors and armrests.

Under the hood, there is a 5.6-liter V8 engine that delivers 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque. The powertrain mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission with a rear-wheel-drive system.

The Infiniti QX80 is now on sale with a starting price of $64,750.
