Disney's CEO Bob Iger announced during the quarterly financial call on Thursday that aside from a new Star Wars trilogy to be helmed by "The Last Jedi" director Rian Johnson, Walt Disney will also be producing a live-action TV series of the franchise, to be shown exclusively on the recently-announced Disney online streaming service to be launched in 2019.
